Michal Minczuk

Co-Founder at Pretzel Therapeutics

Michal Minczuk has extensive work experience in the field of genetics and molecular biology. Michal began their career as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB) in 2004, where they worked until 2007. Michal then joined the MRC Mitochondrial Biology Unit in 2007, initially as a Postdoctoral Researcher and later as a Group Leader in Mitochondrial Genetics. In 2017, Michal joined the University of Cambridge as an MRC Investigator at the MRC MBU. In 2021, they co-founded Pretzel Therapeutics. Throughout their career, Michal has made significant contributions to the field of mitochondrial biology and genetics.

Michal Minczuk completed their education in Molecular Biology. Michal obtained their BSc+Msc from the University of Warsaw between 1994 and 1999. In 1998 and 1999, they also pursued an MSc in Molecular Biology at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Subsequently, between 1999 and 2003, they conducted their PhD in Molecular Biology, also at the University of Warsaw.
