Thibault Masson has worked in the vacation rental and short-term rental industry since 2013. Thibault began their career as a Vacation Rental & Short-Term Rental Industry Analyst at Rental Scale-Up, where they published research articles to help fellow vacation rental owners and managers build their businesses, and advised several vacation rental owners and vacation rental management companies on how to improve their marketing and distribution strategies. Thibault then became the Vacation Rental Owner and Marketing Manager in St. Barths at SaintBarth.com, where they analyzed and prioritized markets and created a unique brand. In 2016, Thibault joined Booking.com as a Global Program Manager - Strategy - Vacation Rentals & Short-Term Rentals, where they developed strategic initiatives to increase Booking.com's competitive advantage. Thibault then became the Senior Product Marketing Manager (Global) - Vacation Rentals & Short-Term Rentals, where they created and led the global product marketing team. In 2013, Thibault founded RealBali.com, a website aimed at promoting lifelong memories in Bali for families, groups of friends, and couples. In 2007, they founded Fashion Fox, a network of fashion blogs for big & tall women and men, which they subsequently expanded from France into the U.S. In 2005, Thibault became the Marketing Director - Vacation & Travel Marketing at ebookers (Orbitz Worldwide), where they managed and allocated the marketing budget for France. In 2004, they were an E-Marketing Program Manager (Intern) - Vacation & Travel Marketing at Orbitz, and in 2000, they were a Pre-Sales Engineer, Account Manager at BroadVision and an Analyst, Webmaster - Online Marketing at AffiliationPro. In August 2022, Thibault sold Rental Scale-Up to PriceLabs, where they are now the Head of Product Marketing.

Thibault Masson began their educational journey at Lycée Kléber in 1994. Thibault then attended Sciences Po from 1994 to 1997, earning a BA in Political Science. Following this, they attended ESSEC Business School from 1997 to 1999, earning a BA in Marketing. Finally, they attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 2003 to 2005, earning an MBA in Marketing, Technology, and Entrepreneurship.
