Colin Hopkins

Colin Hopkins has over 40 years of professional experience. Colin began their career in 1974 as an Assistant Air Traffic Controller for the Royal Air Force. In 1984, they joined BT Global Services as a Research Engineer and Product Manager, where they were responsible for the development and launch of the UK's first broadband service based on Asynchronous Mode Transmission. In 1996, they became the Global Marketing Manager for Telfort. Colin returned to BT Global Services in 1997 as the Head of Data Centre Services Planning, Head of Data Services 'Farland', and Global Portfolio Marketing Manager. In 2007, they were appointed Integration Director, Mergers and Acquisitions at BT Global Services. In 2010, they became a Partner at Beyond the Deal LLP. In 2015, they joined Global PMI Partners as an Associate Partner. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed Director of M&A Integration at PRITCHETT, LP, where they are responsible for planning and executing EMEA integrations.

Colin Hopkins' education history includes a B.Sc. in Psychology from the University of Wales, Cardiff, which they earned between 1980 and 1983. Colin then earned an M.Sc. in Computer Science (Knowledge Based Systems) from the University of Sussex between 1983 and 1984. Colin went on to earn a Ph.D. in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) from the University of Essex between 1986 and 1990. Finally, they earned an M.Sc. in Telecoms Business Management from UCL in 1992 and 1993.
