Matthew Tolan

Matthew Tolan has extensive experience in engineering management, currently serving as the Manager of Design Engineering at Pride Mobility Products since November 2007. In this role, Matthew oversees the Mechanical Design Engineering department, spearheading the development of innovative products by incorporating advancements in materials and technology while ensuring aesthetic appeal. Responsibilities include establishing project goals and timelines, collaborating with marketing and business management for product launches, reviewing engineering change orders, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and building effective R&D engineering teams. Earlier experience includes an internship at Gentex, where Matthew focused on manufacturing processes and conducted stress analysis on materials. Matthew holds an M.B.A. in Accounting/Operations Management from the University of Scranton and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University.
