Guy Chartrand

Guy is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in mine closures. He has assisted in the design, and was the lead constructor of two mine closures that received the “Tom Peters Memorial Mine Reclamation Award”.

Over the course of his career, Guy has successfully led the closure of seven Tailing facilities, and three open pits. He also led the construction effort on the Three Nations Lake Expansion and winter road access, revegetated fourteen different mine sites, and numerous aquatic enhancement projects.

Guy also has extensive executive construction management experience with expertise in all facets of the construction and demolition industries. He successfully executes multi-million dollar projects by possessing expert knowledge in contract negotiations, project estimating, impending design problems, document preparation, material purchasing, and site construction management. Guy started with Priestly Demolition Inc. in March 2016 as Chief Estimator and has now moved into the role of overseeing the entire project management team.
