Murat Celep

Murat Celep has extensive work experience in the field of architecture and software development. Murat is currently the Head of Architecture, Security, and Shared Services at Prima, starting in August 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Snyk as an Engineering Manager and Staff Architect from November 2021 to July 2023. From November 2020 to October 2021, they were a Staff Architect at Pivotal Labs Platform Services at VMware. Before that, they held the position of Senior Architect at Red Hat from September 2019 to December 2019, and as an Architect from January 2018 to August 2019. Murat also served as a Software/Cloud Architect at Swisscom from March 2014 to November 2017. Earlier in their career, they were a Senior Software Developer at Voice Publishing AG from November 2009 to February 2014, a Software Developer at Softwired AG from November 2007 to October 2009, and a Software Developer at Mobilelabs GmbH from April 2007 to September 2007. Murat started their career as an intern at NEC Laboratories Europe, where they also completed their Master's thesis.

Murat Celep obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University from 2000 to 2004. Murat then pursued a Master's degree in Communication and Media Engineering from Offenburg University of Applied Sciences from 2004 to 2006. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications including CKA, CKAD, Professional Cloud Architect, CKS, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, Certified SAFe Agilist, and Certified Scrum Master.
