Maria Barrell

Maria Barrell is an experienced family physician currently practicing at Primary Medical Group since January 2014. Previously, Maria served as a school physician at The Thacher School from May 2016 to June 2020 and completed a residency at the University of Minnesota Duluth from June 2010 to December 2013. Early in their career, Maria worked as a lab technician at Boulder Community Hospital and as a medical assistant at People's Clinic. Additionally, Maria has a background in finance, having worked as a financial analyst at JPMorgan and as an analyst at Hambrecht & Quist from 2000 to 2002. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences, a post-baccalaureate in Pre-Medicine from Columbia University, and a BA in Latin American Studies from Middlebury College.
