Mark Owens

Mark Owens has over 20 years of work experience in the IT industry. Mark is currently the Director of Information Security at Prime Care Technologies, Inc., a position they have held since March 2017. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Project Management Office & Field Services, the Midrange Systems Manager, the Senior Network Engineer, and the Technical Services Manager at the same company between 2006 and 2013.

Before joining Prime Care Technologies, Inc., Mark worked at CompBenefits for almost 10 years. Mark started as a Helpdesk Technician in June 1997 and gradually worked their way up to become a Systems Administrator, Manager of IT Operations, and eventually the Director of IT Operations, a position they held from 2002 to 2006.

Mark Owens attended Southern Polytechnic State University from 1990 to 1995, where they studied Industrial Engineering with an IT option. Mark then went on to enroll at Shorter University from 1998 to 2000 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management.
