Bill Weston

Bill Weston has worked in the IT industry since 1996. Bill began their career as a Software Developer at Hummingbird Communications. In 1998, they moved to IBM as an IT Specialist, where they developed C++ and J2EE applications for a HR call center. In 2008, they joined Johnson Controls as a Collaboration Architect and Engineer, designing and implementing solutions for SharePoint O365 and Azure environments. Bill also led migration efforts from Documentum and CQ5 to O365. Bill then moved to Northwoods Web Solutions in 2016 as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2017, they returned to Johnson Controls as an IT Systems Development Manager.

Bill Weston attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1987 to 1991, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Computer Science. Bill then attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1991 to 1993, where they earned their Master of Arts in Mathematics.
