Sasha Barron, PharmD, has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and education fields. They began their career in 2013 as a Children's Writing Class Instructor at Bridge Community Church. In 2014, Sasha worked as a Pharmacy Intern at the University of Michigan Health System C.S. Mott Children's Hospital. They gained further experience at the Detroit Medical Center Children's Hospital of Michigan, starting in 2016 as a Clinical Pharmacist. Sasha then took on various roles including Investigational Drug Service Coordinator/Pharmacist, Interim Pharmacy Manager, and Coordinator of Pharmacy Services. They eventually joined PRIME Education in 2022 as the Associate Director, Scientific Affairs. Sasha's career has allowed them to make significant contributions to pharmaceutical care and education.
Sasha Barron, PharmD completed their education at the University of Michigan. Sasha first earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience from the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts, graduating in 2015. Sasha then pursued a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy, completing their studies in 2016.
In addition to their academic achievements, Sasha has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. Sasha obtained a Pharmacist Controlled Substance License and became a Registered Pharmacist from the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs in August 2016. In April 2015, they obtained a certification as a Certified Immunizer from the American Pharmacists Association. Furthermore, in August 2012, they earned a certification in Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers from the American Heart Association.
