Joe Stchur

Joe Stchur currently serves as the Director of Plant Operations at Prime Healthcare, a role held since October 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing Environmental Services, Construction, Facilities, Linen, Maintenance, and Security operations. Prior to this, Joe held the position of Director of Facility Operations at Michigan Medicine from April 2001 to February 2017, managing 7 million square feet of facilities and a $65 million budget. Joe's experience also includes a tenure as Director of Plant Operations at Detroit Medical Center, where oversight was provided for multiple hospitals and a significant budget. Joe began as a Biomedical Equipment Technologist at Sinai Hospital before advancing to Manager of Maintenance & Biomedical Engineering. Academic credentials include a Master Certificate in Health Care Administration from the University of Michigan, a Bachelor's in Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology from Wayne State University, and an Associate's in Biomedical Engineering Technology from Schoolcraft Community College.
