Michael Campos

Associate at Prime Impact Fund

Michael Campos is an Associate at Prime Impact Fund with responsibility to source investment opportunities broadly, manage the Fund’s investment pipeline, and support investment diligence. Michael joined Prime Impact Fund from his role as a Fellow at the Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy (ARPA-E) in the U.S. Department of Energy, where he developed funding programs in advanced geothermal energy, proof-of-concept projects for small businesses, and technology scale-up. More broadly, he sourced and evaluated hundreds of early-stage energy and climate innovation proposals to identify the most promising prospects for funding and impact on U.S. energy and emissions. Some of his work has been featured in the New York Times and Greentech Media. He holds a B.A. from Northwestern University, and a Ph.D., M.Phil, and M.A. from Columbia University.
