Zihan Zhang has a diverse work experience in scientific research. In 2015, Zihan worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Nankai University. Starting in 2016, Zihan became a Visiting Researcher at Purdue University. In 2017, Zihan joined Indiana University Bloomington as a Research Associate and later took on the role of Associate Instructor. At Indiana University Bloomington, they were involved in various projects, including the development of a biomedical device for diagnosing sepsis, investigating host-pathogen interactions, and studying inflammation in vitro.
