Oumou Berete BSN, RN, has extensive experience in healthcare and research, currently serving as a Registered Nurse at Montefiore Health System since February 2020 and at Prime Staffing since October 2019. Prior experience includes a role as Clinical Research Coordinator at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and various positions in medical support and research, including Medical Technician/Nurse Aide and Research Assistant at Clark Atlanta University and the University of Georgia. Oumou's research expertise encompasses the physiology and genetics of fungi, particularly focusing on Neurospora crassa and Candida albicans, as well as breast cancer studies involving the Duffy Antigen Receptor for Chemokines.
