Aaron Burciaga, CAP, ACE

Aaron Burciaga is a highly experienced professional with a diverse background in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Aaron co-founded DataPrime, Inc. in 2018 and served as the CEO, leading a team of data professionals and focusing on delivery excellence. Aaron received recognition as a Top 50 Tech Leader and was invited to join the Forbes Technology Council.

In 2021, Burciaga joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Senior Practice Manager, where they specialize in US Federal Partner Professional Services. Prior to that, they worked at ECS as the Vice President of Data & Artificial Intelligence. In this role, they played a key role in scaling the company's data professionals from less than 50 to over 350, with more than 1,000 certifications. Aaron also advised c-level clients and collaborated with technology teams on implementing strategies for emerging technologies.

Before joining ECS, Burciaga held leadership positions at HCL Technologies, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Accenture LLP. At HCL Technologies, they served as the Global Operations Director for Analytics & Artificial Intelligence, building global teams and overseeing the delivery of over $10 billion in global technology business operations. At Booz Allen Hamilton, they were the Vice President of Data Science & Artificial Intelligence, where they guided the transformation of integration cloud and emerging technologies.

Burciaga's earlier career includes roles at Elder Research and the US Marine Corps. Aaron served as a Division Director & Operations Research Advisor in the Logistics Analytics Division and represented their team's interests while providing technical oversight of studies conducted by uniformed, civilian, and contracted personnel. Aaron also worked as a Graduate Student and Logistics Analytics Division Director at the Naval Postgraduate School.

Aaron Burciaga, CAP, ACE has a strong education history with a focus on military and technical fields. Aaron holds a Master of Science degree in Operations Research from the Naval Postgraduate School. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Naval Academy, where they studied Engineering, Political Science, and Spanish.

In addition to their formal education, Aaron has obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include the Analytics Capability Evaluation Coach (ACE) certification from INFORMS, which they received in March 2020. Aaron is also a Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), having obtained this certification from INFORMS in May 2020.

Aaron has further certifications in various military and technical areas. Aaron holds a Total Force Structure Management System (TFSMS) Super User certification from the United States Marine Corps, obtained in 2011. Aaron also has an Acquisitions Professional Certification Level 2 from the Defense Acquisition University, acquired in 2009.

Furthermore, Aaron has achieved a Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information Active Security Clearance from the United States Department of Defense in 2006. Aaron holds certifications as a Ground Safety Officer and Team Embarkation Officer from the United States Marine Corps, earned in 2005. In addition, they have a Defense Language Proficiency Test 3/2+ Spanish certification from the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center, received in 2003.

Most recently, Aaron obtained the Certified SAFe 5 Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in March 2021.
