Mark Kwan, CPA, CMA

Mark Kwan, CPA, CMA has over 18 years of work experience in various roles in finance, accounting, and human resources. Mark started their career at London Drugs, where they held positions such as Sales Service and Computer Specialist, providing customer service and technical support in the computer department. Mark then became the Assistant Department Manager, Computers, overseeing the department's operations and leading a team of employees.

In 2013, Mark joined PRIMED Medical Products Inc. as an Accounting Technician, where they handled full-cycle accounting processes and assisted customers with orders. Mark later took on the role of Financial Accountant and HR Manager, responsible for producing financial reports and managing HR functions. In 2019, they were promoted to Manager, Human Resources and Administration, where they developed strategic plans and nurtured PRIMED's workforce.

Currently, Mark serves as the Director of Human Resources at PRIMED, leading the development of the company's overall strategic plan and ensuring the wellbeing of its employees. PRIMED is a leading Canadian medical product provider, known for delivering quality products and recognized as one of Canada's Best Managed Companies.

Throughout their career, Mark has demonstrated their expertise in financial accounting, HR management, and leadership, making significant contributions to the organizations they have worked for.

Mark Kwan, CPA, CMA, has a strong education background in accounting and business/management. Mark completed the CMA Alberta Strategic Leadership Program from 2013 to 2015, earning a degree of CPA, CMA Professional Accountant. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration from NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) from 2010 to 2012. Mark also obtained a Diploma in Business Administration from NAIT from 2008 to 2010. In addition to their degrees, Mark Kwan has obtained the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) certification from CMA Alberta in September 2015.
