Ross Gates

Ross Gates has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Ross is currently the COO at PrimeLab, where they have built an operations-led organization overseeing an operations team and multiple agile teams. Ross was previously with NEAR Foundation, where they served as the Engineering Operations Manager and later as the Head of Growth, leading product-led growth initiatives and advising ecosystem projects. Before that, Ross co-founded Gravity and worked as the Co-Founder & Engineering Operations Manager, overseeing teams and building product verticals. Ross also worked as an Operations and Engineering Specialist at Wipro, playing a key role in integration efforts. Ross was the Founder & Product Engineering Lead at Eleframes, where they led a team in product design, prototyping, and mass production. Ross also gained experience in operations and innovation at the University of Connecticut and worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Sensata Technologies.

Ross Gates attended the University of Connecticut and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Ross also studied at the UConn School of Engineering, focusing on Autonomous Quadcopter Vision Systems and Autonomous Control Researcher. Additionally, Ross completed a course titled "Intro to Self-Driving Cars" at Udacity.
