Zhiyu Zhang has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. In 1998, Zhiyu started their career at Verizon as a Test Lead, responsible for producing and executing test plans for billing applications. They also coordinated issue resolution among different teams. From 2001 to 2007, Zhiyu worked as a Functional Architect at Verizon, leading discussions and implementation of architectural solutions for order negotiation systems. This role also involved cost and requirement analysis, resource allocation, and companywide architecture support. From 2007 to 2018, Zhiyu served as a Technical Release Lead at Verizon, managing and controlling project and software releases. They coordinated with the development team and delivered cost analysis, effectively reducing last-minute code breaks. From 2015 to 2019, Zhiyu worked as a Technical Solutions Architect at Verizon, focusing on enterprise system migration to AWS Cloud and automating code build, deployment, and testing processes. In 2020, Zhiyu joined PrimePay as an IT Release Manager.
