Flav Pop

Flav Pop has a comprehensive work experience in the financial and healthcare sectors. They currently serve as the Director of Trade Finance Global Financial Partnerships at PrimeRevenue since June 2022. Prior to that, Flav was a Founding Member at Urban Red Capital starting in January 2021.

Flav's previous roles include being the Vice President of Large Corporate Syndicated Banking at Comerica Bank from September 2018 to June 2022. In this role, they managed a $1 billion loan portfolio, developed partnerships with C-Suite leaders, and provided tailored financial solutions to corporate organizations. Flav was also part of the team that made the decision to outsource certain CRM functions for marketing purposes.

Before that, Flav served as the Vice President of Middle Market Healthcare Relationship Management at Citizens Bank from July 2017 to September 2018. They were responsible for developing the healthcare market presence in Metro Detroit and providing customized financing solutions to healthcare organizations. Flav successfully grew the loan volume from $0 to $37 million in the first year.

Flav also gained valuable experience as a Portfolio Manager in the Private Wealth Group at Huntington National Bank from September 2015 to August 2017. They managed a complex loan portfolio, reduced compliance issues, and implemented automated tracking processes to increase productivity.

Flav began their career in the finance industry through the Comerica Leadership Development Program, where they completed the Comerica Bank Credit College Underwriting Program. During this time, Flav served as a financial analyst and gained experience in underwriting, financial statement analysis, and credit management. They also contributed to improving efficiencies in the Procurement Department through the implementation of an automated CRM tool.

Outside of the finance industry, Flav has also worked as a Clinical Services Coordinator at Michigan Health and Rehab Services (MHRS) from February 2009 to January 2012, and as a Healthcare Administration Intern at Detroit Medical Center from August 2008 to December 2008.

Flav Pop obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Management and Finance from Walsh College in 2011-2012. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2010, Flav Pop completed a Bachelor's degree in Business and Finance from Oakland University.
