Katherine Burnette

Katherine Burnette is an experienced educator with a background in early childhood education, having served as an Elementary School Teacher at Prince Avenue Christian School since June 2021. Prior to this role, Katherine held various positions including Intern at UGA Wesley Foundation, where responsibilities included managing worship services for college freshmen, and Substitute Teacher at Athens Academy, where duties involved supporting lead teachers across multiple grade levels. Additional experience includes a Student Teacher role at Barnett Shoals Elementary School, a Summer Intern position at Peachtree Presbyterian Church, and work as a Swim Instructor at Mountaire Park Inc. Katherine holds a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education from The University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education from UGA Mary Frances Early College of Education.
