Sarah McCoy

Sarah McCoy is a seasoned graphic designer with extensive experience in both academic and professional settings. Currently serving as a Senior Associate in Design for Global Brand Experience at Principal Financial Group since March 2024, Sarah also owns The Permanent Collection, a letterpress printing and design studio established in January 2006. Previously, Sarah held the position of Senior Graphic Designer at 818 - a tiny design empire and taught as an Associate Professor of Graphic Design at Drake University from 2006 to May 2022. Earlier roles include Senior Graphic Designer at the Stanley Museum of Art and Lead Graphic Designer for The University of Iowa International Programs. Sarah began the graphic design career as a Junior Graphic Designer at ASMI and other firms, culminating in a solid academic foundation with multiple degrees from the University of Iowa, including a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.
