Martyn Waddington

Martyn Waddington has extensive experience as an IT professional, with a focus on leadership roles. Martyn has served as a Group IT Director for multiple companies, including Prism Healthcare, Care-ability Healthcare Ltd, Smirthwaite, and Prism Medical UK, starting in November 2020. Prior to this, they held the position of IT Director at Moores Furniture Group from March 2016 to November 2020, where they successfully led a technology transformation and managed IT budgets. Martyn also held the role of Head of Business Technology Support at Emerald Group Publishing from April 2014 to March 2016, overseeing IT operations for a global publishing business. Additionally, Martyn Waddington has served as Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Huddersfield Giants Supporters Association, demonstrating their involvement in community leadership. Prior to these roles, they held various IT management positions, including IT Manager at BW Legal and IT Director at Bezier (London).

Martyn Waddington obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Technology and Management from the University of Bradford, from the years 1992 to 1996. In addition, they acquired the ITIL v3 Foundation Certification from EXIN in October 2011.
