Avishay Alfandary

Avishay Alfandary is a seasoned data engineering professional with extensive experience in designing and implementing data architecture and workflows. Currently serving as Data Engineering Manager at Prisma Photonics since March 2022, Avishay focuses on accelerating research and development processes through the indexing and organization of large-scale heritage data. Previously, Avishay held leadership roles at RailVision, where responsibilities included overseeing data processing tasks and developing neural network solutions, as well as working as an Algorithms Engineer, focusing on pathfinding and obstacle detection in railway systems. The career includes significant contributions at Airspan Networks and Marvell Israel Ltd. in embedded software and DSP engineering, alongside notable experience at Altair Semiconductor, developing WiMax and LTE modem algorithms. Avishay holds an MBA from Tel Aviv University, an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
