Teresa Tauchi

Teresa Tauchi has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Teresa is currently the COO and Acting Art Director at the Prison Journalism Project, a role they began in November 2022. Prior to this, they were the Director of Product & Marketing at the same organization starting in March 2020.

Before their current role, Teresa worked as a Marketing Consultant, offering their services in writing, editing, and marketing to various clients such as Adobe Systems, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and Chez Panisse, among others. Teresa had been self-employed in this role from 2000 to 2020.

From 2015 to 2018, Teresa worked at Kokko Inc. as a Product Management & Marketing specialist. During this time, they launched the Kokko Beauty app for iOS.

Teresa Tauchi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, which they obtained in 1987. In 1996, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Haas School of Business at the same university. Additionally, they studied Japanese Language at the International Christian University from 1985 to 1986.
