Senior Web Application Engineer

Prisync is competitor price tracking & monitoring, dynamic pricing, and repricing software for e-commerce merchants from all around the world. Since 2013, Prisync has tracked millions of prices and stock availability information every day and has 700+ customers in over 60 countries. We are a young, ambitious, dynamic, and productive team that works with high tempo in our Istanbul-based office, which has a quiet environment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to design, develop, and maintain our SaaS web application, focusing on integrations with various e-commerce platforms such as Shopify and BigCommerce.

• Participate in discussions and provide technical insights during the architecture and design phases. Understanding customer needs, doing research & development for a possible solution, then developing the actual solution and presenting it to the team.

• Develop and maintain integrations with payment gateway systems such as Iyzico and Stripe.

• Implement data provider APIs and cloud provider APIs, including AWS and Microsoft Azure.

• Work closely with our DevSecOps engineer to ensure the security of our web application.

• Optimize the performance and scalability of the web application, considering the multi-tenant nature of our platform.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment and maintenance of the web application.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in web application development, with a focus on integrations.
• Proficiency in the full web technology stack, including Node.js, NestJS, and Tailwind CSS.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Prisma ORM, MySQL, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Redis, AWS DynamoDB, and Elasticsearch.
• Strong experience in integrating with e-commerce infrastructure providers, such as Shopify, BigCommerce, and similar platforms.
• Experience working with payment gateway systems, such as Iyzico and Stripe.
• Familiarity with cloud services and APIs, particularly AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of DevOps and security best practices, working alongside a DevSecOps engineer.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
