Chris Garvin

Chris Garvin currently serves as Fire Chief at Pecan Creek VFD, overseeing daily operations, training, and firehouse tasks since July 2024. Prior experience includes managing West Texas Boys Ranch from March 2016 to June 2022 and owning and operating Angelo Welding from August 2010 to October 2015, where responsibilities included metal fabrication and oil field services. Chris also worked as a rancher at Halfmann Red Angus from August 2007 to October 2009 and began a career in mechanics at Firestone Complete Auto Care from January 1999 to January 2002, developing foundational skills in vehicle maintenance and repair. Education was pursued at Marine Corps University, culminating in a degree from the institution.
