Demetries Green

Demetries Green has a diverse work experience spanning a variety of roles in the healthcare and financial sectors. In 2007, they started their career as an Administrative Assistant at College Foundation, Inc., where they handled routine correspondence and scheduling. From 2011 to 2013, they worked at UNC REX Healthcare as a Case Manager, responsible for processing payments, maintaining budget reports, and serving as a liaison between the hospital and community providers.

In 2013, Demetries became a Financial Counselor and Patient Service Associate at Duke University Health System, where they handled patient check-in/out, charge posting, and appointment scheduling. Demetries also explained billing to patients based on credit and collection policies. During this time, they also started their own business, DG Credit Consulting LLC, which focused on credit restoration services to help individuals with credit issues.

From 2015 to 2018, Demetries worked as a Claims Coding Specialist at UNC Physicians Network, ensuring accurate and timely claims payment and conducting post-payment reviews on claim denials. Demetries also collaborated with clinical departments to address changes in regulations and reimbursement rules. In 2018, they joined Unified Physician Management as a Claims Coordinator, resolving claims issues and providing consistent communication with internal and external entities.

From 2019 to 2021, Demetries worked as a Revenue Cycle Manager and Billing Specialist at Triangle Family Services, where they conducted insurance eligibility verification and data entry, and liaised with billing vendors for payment reconciliation and issue resolution. Currently, they hold the position of an Accounts Receivable Manager at Privia Health, where their responsibilities include accounts receivable management, denial management, and finding root cause issues.

Throughout their career, Demetries has demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and customer service abilities. Demetries has experience in areas such as accounts receivable, denial management, claims coordination, billing, and revenue cycle management.

Demetries Green completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from Shaw University, from 2010 to 2013. In 2016, they attended Wake Technical Community College and studied Certified Coding Specialist. Additional certifications include Christian Life Coach from The Seed Planter Coaching & Counseling, PLLC obtained in January 2015, and Caring for People God's Way from the American Association of Christian Counselors obtained in December 2012.
