J.R. Roemke

J.R. Roemke is the current VP of ProMach Business Process at Pro Mach. Prior to this, they held various positions at Emerson Network Power and Emerson Climate Technologies from January 2005 to December 2014. These positions include Business Group Perfect Execution Lead, Business Excellence Director, and Quality/Customer Care Director.

At Emerson Climate Technologies, Roemke was responsible for the strategic insights, business acumen, and global supply chain expertise that drove the business growth of the refrigeration division. They refocused resources in new product development, customer care, and operational standards while championing the pursuit of excellence. They benchmarked best practices that positioned Emerson with the IT and operational capabilities vital to curating a robust, agile, demand-driven supply chain. Ultimately, Roemke was tapped as one of 2 global executive leaders to pilot Emerson’s core growth strategy.

During their time at Emerson Climate Technologies, Roemke DELIVERED RESULTS by increasing customer delivery and IT, and component part delivery frequency receipt cadence. They also won the Manufacturing Leadership Award for rolling out global processes, Demantra, and Oracle’s VCP applications, and for designing a global Future State standard around a $3B supply chain. In addition, they led the division to earn the prestigious Emerson Chairman’s Award by enabling the team to rank #1 over 50+ business units company-wide.

By restructuring operations, Roemke raised the bar on operational performance, growing operating profits while lowering operating costs. They maintained a 90+% on-time delivery rate while decreasing platforms by 41% and SKUs by 43%. Providing critical quality leadership in the development of a $100M+ adjacent global transport market growth opportunity, Roemke captured reductions for 1-year and 3-year warranties. Lastly, they developed a world-class customer care program that increased Net Promoter Score, elevating Emerson to the top tier of service rankings alongside preeminent companies such as Southwest Airlines and FedEx.

J.R. Roemke has a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Indiana University Bloomington and is certified from APICS Supply Chain Council in Certified in Integrated Resource Management (CIRM).
