Jennifer Sherber, JD began their career as an Associate Attorney at Rebein Bangerter, PA in 2003. From 2007 to 2018, they worked at the Health Care Stabilization Fund, where they were a Claims Attorney and Human Resource Officer. In this role, they managed the defense of medical malpractice claims and had expertise in Medicare Secondary Payer compliance. In 2018, Sherber joined KAMMCO as a Claims Manager, providing legal support and guidance to the Claims Department. Jennifer then progressed to become the Director of Claims, overseeing a team responsible for investigating and resolving medical liability claims in Kansas and Missouri. In 2019, they were promoted to Vice President of Claims, where they were responsible for the executive management and performance of the Claims Department, implementing strategic claims management policies and procedures. Most recently, Sherber joined ProAssurance in 2021 as a Claims Director, working on the Senior Care Team and Miscellaneous Medical matters.
Jennifer Sherber, JD, completed their education at the University of Kansas School of Law from 1999 to 2002, earning a Doctor of Law - JD degree. Prior to that, they attended Kansas State University from 1995 to 1999 and obtained a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General Studies. Jennifer Sherber also holds several additional certifications, including Property and Casualty Claims Adjuster from the Connecticut Insurance Department, which was obtained in 2018. In 2014, they achieved the Certified Litigation Management Professional (CLMP) certification from the CLM Alliance (Claims and Litigation Management Alliance). Furthermore, in 2010, they completed the Emerging Leaders Academy program offered by the University of Kansas Public Management Center.
