Gkrasiela Chatziai

Gkrasiela Chatziai is currently a QC Engineer at Cellcolabs since September 2023, following a role as a QC/AD Research Associate at Procella Therapeutics AB from June 2022 to September 2023. Gkrasiela's academic background includes a Master’s degree in Biomedicine from Uppsala University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from Karolinska Institutet. The Master's thesis project, conducted under Leslie Kirby, focused on investigating the immune profile of oligodendroglia in an inflammatory environment. Additional experience includes positions at ABC Labs as a Laboratory Assistant for COVID-19 testing, a research intern at Karolinska Institutet, and various research roles within the institution that contributed to knowledge in neurogenesis and psychiatric neurology.
