Laurel Shinerock

Laurel Shinerock, M.S., CCC-SLP, serves as a Learning Skills Specialist at Proctor Academy since August 2023. Previously, Laurel contributed as a Fourth Grade Language-Based Classroom Teacher during summer school at Winchester Public Schools. From August 2016 to June 2023, Laurel worked at the International School of Boston as a Speech-Language Pathologist and Learning Support Specialist, providing targeted assessments and interventions in both French and English, developing personalized learning plans, and facilitating various evaluations and accommodations for students. Laurel's experience also includes roles at Dearborn Academy, Hunt Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and various positions within educational settings, including Boston Public Schools and MGH Health Centers. Laurel holds a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the MGH Institute of Health Professions and a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistic Anthropology from Brown University.
