Dominique Collett has a diverse and impressive work experience. Dominique started their career as an Analyst at Standard Bank Group in 2004, focusing on strategic investments and alliances. In 2005, they joined McKinsey & Company as an Analyst, where they consulted and researched organizations in various industries. Dominique had a brief secondment to the Brussels office to work with European clients.

In 2007, Dominique returned to Standard Bank, taking on the role of Manager in International Corporate Development, based in London. Dominique evaluated and executed strategic initiatives and M&A opportunities for the bank's international franchise, with a specific focus on Russia and Turkey. Dominique also conducted strategic analysis and investigated new business areas for the bank's international operations.

In 2010, Dominique became a Senior Manager in Group Corporate Development at Standard Bank, reporting directly to the Group CFO. Dominique'sresponsibilities included evaluating and executing group strategic initiatives and projects, such as assessing acquisition targets and restructuring international operations.

Dominique then joined TYME, a South African-based technology company, in 2011 as the Head of Mobile Money. Dominique played an instrumental role in launching TYME and establishing it as a standalone business. TYME was later sold to Commonwealth Bank of Australia in 2015.

Dominique's next role was at RMI Holdings in 2014, where they served as a Senior Investment Executive. Dominique worked on investment projects and managed the company's investment portfolio until April 2023.

From 2015 onwards, Dominique founded AlphaCode and worked as a Founder Partner. AlphaCode is an incubation and investment platform that focuses on fintech startups.

In 2017, they took on multiple non-executive director roles at Prodigy Finance, Entersekt, and Luno. These roles allowed their to contribute to the strategic direction and governance of these companies.

Lastly, in 2019, Dominique joined Guidepost Limited as a Non-Executive Director.

Dominique Collett began their education at Parktown High School for Girls from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained their Matric degree. Dominique then attended Rhodes University from 2000 to 2003 and earned their Bachelor of Business Science degree with a focus on Economics and financial management. In 2008, Collett continued their education at the London Business School, where they completed their MSc in Finance from 2008 to 2010. During this time, in 2009, they also received a Certificate in Corporate Finance from the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
