Karl Varsanyi has an extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the fields of product management, user experience, and digital transformation. Karl is currently the President at ProducePay since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Executive Council Member at Collaborative Gain starting from September 2022.

From April 2021 to August 2022, Karl served as the Chief Product and Experience Officer at Shipt. In this role, they played a crucial role in driving growth, profitability, and innovation as a member of the executive team. Karl was responsible for product and marketing strategy and execution for multiple product lines, including a four-sided B2C marketplace and B2B last-mile products. Karl also owned key drivers of the marketplace's profit and loss (P&L).

Before joining Shipt, Karl worked at Albertsons Companies as the Group Vice President of Product Management and User Experience from May 2017 to February 2020. Their main focus was leading the digital transformation and reinventing how consumers plan for, purchase, and consume groceries. Karl oversaw the product management, user experience design, growth marketing, and marketing technology functions.

From July 2015 to April 2017, Karl held the position of Group Vice President - Product Management, Strategy, and Experience at Macy's - macys.com. Karl led a team of more than 120 professionals, responsible for identifying, defining, and executing digital products and experiences across all channels. Karl also managed the digital innovation pipeline and prioritized significant capital spend annually.

Karl's earlier experience includes roles at Oracle and macys.com, where they worked as a Senior Financial Analyst and Financial Analyst, respectively. Karl also worked at Celeritek as a Financial Analyst/Cost Accountant.

Karl Varsanyi has pursued a Masters in Business Administration from Santa Clara University. Karl has also studied Business-Economics at UC Santa Barbara. Additionally, Karl has participated in a Study Abroad program at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
