Koichiro Sobue

Koichiro Sobue has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Koichiro is currently employed as a Software Architect at ProducePay since December 2021.

Prior to that, from November 2019 to November 2021, Koichiro worked at RapidAI, where they held the positions of Sr. Principal Software Engineer and Principal Software Engineer. In these roles, they led teams in designing architecture for RapidAI's next-generation system, transitioning from on-prem software to a fully cloud-based system. Koichiro also guided product managers in building technical requirements and designed high-level system architecture to meet regulatory standards. Koichiro also played a crucial role in leading cross-functional teams to achieve performance breakthrough in DICOM data transfer for stroke patient care.

From December 2016 to December 2018, Koichiro was a Principal Software Engineer at Invoice2go, where they led the web and payment teams. Koichiro'sresponsibilities included overseeing web application development for small business owners and managing invoice payment processes. Koichiro closely collaborated with engineers, QA, and product managers for weekly software releases.

At Oracle, Koichiro held multiple roles starting from April 1999 to November 2016. As a Principal Software Engineer in the Data Visualization Cloud Service team (October 2015 to November 2016), they were responsible for data visualization using geographical maps and defining REST APIs for inter-application communication. Koichiro also led cross-team collaborations with individuals from various locations.

In their role as Principal Member of Technical Staff in the Oracle BI Mobile App Designer team (November 2013 to September 2015), Koichiro developed and delivered data analytics and visualization products for non-IT workers. Koichiro was involved in all aspects of the product development cycle.

From November 2007 to October 2013, Koichiro served as a Senior Software Engineer in the Oracle BI Publisher team, where they developed a web-based report layout editor tool and implemented functionalities for layout editing.

Prior to that, they worked as a Technical Lead in the LBS (Location-Based Service) team at Oracle from April 2003 to October 2007. Koichiro led a team in creating a scrollable map SDK and collaborated with sales, partner companies, and map vendors in Japan.

Koichiro's career began as a Database Consultant at Oracle from April 1999 to March 2003.

Koichiro Sobue obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering from Osaka University, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. Koichiro then pursued their Master of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering at the same university from 1997 to 1999.
