Luis Martín

Luis Martín has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Luis began their career as a Programmer Analyst at Nevada Software, where they developed software products for accounting management. Luis then worked as an Associate Professor at Universidad Europea de Madrid, teaching courses on Data Structures and Algorithms, Logic Programming, and Functional Programming. During this time, they also conducted research in areas such as Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning.

Luis went on to become a Researcher at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, focusing on their PhD thesis titled "Method for the resolution of conflicts and constraints management in semantic mediation." This work involved developing a novel method for semantic and syntactic mediation in large, heterogeneous database systems.

Luis then joined BrainSINS as a CTO, leading the development and support teams and managing development projects. Luis was responsible for developing algorithms and API software for the personalization system.

After this, Luis worked at Customeer as a Principal Software Engineer, aligning product and business objectives with development and operations. Luis developed and maintained the stack of technologies supporting the backend and supervised the infrastructure in AWS.

At StratioBD, Luis served as a Technical Lead, integrating Stratio Data Centric product in several innovation projects for banking. Luis also worked on internal machine learning engineering initiatives.

Luis has also contributed to the academic community as a Lecturer in various institutions, including Universidad Europea, where they taught in the AI Expert Postgraduate Program, and U-tad, where they lectured in the Big Data Expert Program. Luis was also a Lecturer at EAE Business School in the Master en Marketing Online y Comercio Digital program.
