Sergio Aguado MacHuca

Sergio Aguado Machuca has a diverse and extensive work experience. Sergio is currently working as a Data Team Lead at Product School, where they lead a team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and analytics solutions. Prior to this, they worked as a Global Product Director at dunnhumby, where they led the design and commercialization of a retail media platform. Sergio also held various roles at dentsu international, including Global Product Director, Product Director EMEA, Head of Product Strategy (Merkle), and Global Analytics & Visualization Manager. Sergio was responsible for delivering data infrastructure and analytics tools, managing data services, and standardizing analytics practices. Before dentsu international, Sergio worked as the Head of Data & Insights at Posterscope, where they led the data transformation and created innovative data products. Sergio also has experience in hotel metasearch performance at lastminute.com group, business intelligence management at Fever!, and as a co-founder of Trustparency. Sergio started their career as an Application Developer at Futurespace S.A. Sergio Aguado Machuca also has experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst at Kellogg Company and an Information and Sales Analyst Trainee at The Coca-Cola Company.

Sergio Aguado Machuca holds a Master's degree in Marketing and Market Analyst from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, obtained from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed an Engineer's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma from 2007 to 2008. Sergio also holds a Bachelor's degree in Technical engineer in computer management from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, completed from 2003 to 2009. In terms of additional certifications, Sergio has obtained multiple certifications in various data science and programming courses from institutions such as Coursera and Datorama, mostly completed between 2014 and 2019.
