Krista Kangas

Krista Kangas is a versatile freelance reporter currently contributing to The Eastern Echo since September 2022, where responsibilities include discussing news articles, researching topics, conducting interviews, and writing articles. Since June 2016, Krista has also worked as a brand ambassador, engaging with guests and promoting brands through demonstrations. As a self-employed actress and voice actress since September 2011, Krista specializes in comedic character acting and martial arts puppetry. Earlier experience includes an internship at Community Television Network (CTN) from January to April 2011, where skills in video editing, camera operation, voice-over, and screenwriting were developed. Krista holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Digital Media from Eastern Michigan University and an Associate's degree in Broadcast Arts from Washtenaw Community College. Currently, Krista is pursuing a certificate in Film from the Motion Picture Institute, expected to be completed in August 2024.
