Lucas Johnson

Lucas Johnson is a seasoned professional in the lighting design and production management field, currently serving as the Lightning Department Manager at Productions Unlimited, Inc. since August 2023. With extensive experience as a Lighting Designer and Technician since June 2001, Lucas held significant roles including Production Manager and Head Electrician at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts from April 2013 to August 2023, and Production Manager at Broadway Series South from 2014 to January 2019. Additional experience includes a position as Lighting Designer/Electrician at ATLAS PRODUCTION LIGHTING INC and Master Electrician at North Carolina Theatre. Lucas is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Lighting Design from 2008 to 2012.
