Matt Appell

Matt Appell has a diverse range of work experience. Matt started as a Private Tutor, specializing in algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, and introductory physics. After that, they worked as a Summer Camp Counselor, supervising and organizing activities for children. Matt then interned at Niagara Bottling in Research and Development, followed by a Business Planning internship at Stryker Endoscopy.

After their internships, Matt joined California Polytechnic State University as an Instructional Student Assistant, supporting Applied Business Operations. Matt also held the position of Sales Manager at Cal Poly ITP 467.

During their time at university, Matt served as Vice President of Delta Sigma Pi.

Post-graduation, Matt joined Stryker as a Supply Planning Analyst, where they managed product supply, developed monthly build plans, and collaborated cross-functionally to overcome supply challenges. Matt also led strategic projects and initiatives and supervised a summer intern. Matt played a key role in ensuring FDA/EUMDR compliance for 200+ products. Currently, Matt is working as a Business Development Representative at Productiv.

Matt Appell attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2017 to 2021, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology and Packaging. Matt'sdegree had a concentration in Operations Management and they minored in Economics. In 2020, Matt had the opportunity to study abroad at the University of Adelaide for a semester. During their time there, they focused on International Supply Chains, International Marketing, and Australian Culture.
