Elina Sarpola

Elina Sarpola is an experienced data scientist with a Master's Degree in Economics and Statistics from the University of Helsinki. Currently, Sarpola has been employed at Productivity Leap since June 2019, focusing on AI solutions for well-being and testing the secondary use of laws in healthcare projects. Previous roles include serving as a Board Member at Länsilinjat Oy, designing AI solutions at Vilja Care, and contributing as a data scientist in various pro bono projects. Sarpola held significant positions at CGI from 2014 to 2019, where leadership involved deriving business value through AI for welfare and local government clients, and leading global data science initiatives. Additional experience includes customer analytics at Finnair and entrepreneurship with Randevuu Oy. Education has been complemented with coursework from Coursera and Tieturi, enhancing expertise in statistical modeling and machine learning.
