Michael Darough

Michael Darough has a solid work experience in the field of photography and education. Michael is currently serving as the Director of Education at Professional Photographers of America since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an Assistant Professor of Photography at Baylor University from June 2015 to May 2020. Before that, they were a Visiting Assistant Professor of Photography at Lycoming College from July 2011 to July 2015. Michael'searly career involved positions at The University of Memphis, where they served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from August 2010 to May 2011, and as an Instructor from August 2009 to May 2011.

Michael Darough received a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Photography from Arizona State University from 2003 to 2007. Michael further pursued their education at The University of Memphis from 2008 to 2011, earning a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) in Photography.
