Claudiu Badea

Claudiu Badea serves as a Technology Project Manager at the City of Cambridge since May 2024 and has been with the Professional Referee Organization as an Assistant Referee and VMO since February 2012. Previously, Claudiu held positions at Capgemini Engineering from October 2021 to September 2023 as a Senior Manager and DevOps Engineer, responsible for managing client success and addressing critical client issues, as well as overseeing day-to-day DevOps activities. Claudiu's earlier experience includes a Senior Technical Leader role at Aricent, where responsibilities involved leading team migrations and upgrades for SaaS deployments, alongside infrastructure maintenance and support. Prior to Aricent, Claudiu worked at IBM as an Integration Verification Team Lead and Staff Software Engineer, focusing on installation and integration testing for Maximo and Control Desk products, and as a Senior QA Engineer at MRO Software, leading testing and release management for Maximo software. Claudiu holds a Master of Science in eCommerce and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics/International Relations from Boston University.
