Gustavo Canela

Gustavo Canela's work experience includes roles at Proficio, Amazon, and Prima Frutta. Gustavo started working at Proficio in November 2021 as a SOC Operations Support, where they monitored cybersecurity alerts, resolved issues with smart connectors, and patched vulnerabilities. Gustavo later became an Associate Security Engineer in February 2022 and eventually transitioned to a Security Engineer in January 2023.

Prior to Proficio, Gustavo worked at Amazon as a Warehouse Associate from August 2021 to March 2022. In this role, they fulfilled Amazon Fresh orders, adapted to different temperature environments, and demonstrated patience and optimism in completing tasks.

Before their time at Amazon, Gustavo worked at Prima Frutta as a Stacker for Cherries in May 2020. In this position, they organized packed cherries, managed pressure in a fast-paced environment, and showed persistence in completing repetitive tasks.

Gustavo Canela pursued their education at the University of California, Merced from 2017 to 2021. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
