Steve Bookout

Steve Bookout has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Steve started their career in the United States Navy as a Lt., where they served on two naval vessels, including the USS Iwo Jima during the Apollo 13 mission. After their military service, Steve joined Travelers as a District Manager, overseeing commercial marketing and underwriting operations. Steve then moved on to work as the Marketing Manager at Hobbs Group, a regional insurance brokerage firm, specializing in high-risk property accounts. In 1997, Steve began their independent consulting career, becoming the President of The Fairview Group, a management consulting firm focusing on team building and communication skills development. At the same time, they also joined Profiles International as an Assessment Director, utilizing their 25 years of marketing and brokerage experience in helping employers identify and manage risks in the hiring process. Throughout their career, Steve has developed strong negotiation skills, risk management techniques, and expertise in marketing and underwriting operations.

Steve Bookout attended Hendrix College from 1964 to 1968, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History & Political Science.
