Serkan Göktaş

Serkan Göktaş has a diverse work experience in software engineering. Serkan started their career as a Software Engineer Intern at P.I. Works, Inc. in 2019. In this role, they gained valuable hands-on experience in software development.

In 2020, Serkan joined İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi as a Researcher. Serkan conducted experiments for testing a thesis and successfully prepared a paper that was accepted by PRIME MICCAI 2020.

Later that year, Serkan joined AgenaBST as a Software Engineer. Here, they became a member of a software engineering team that developed a discrete simulation environment software. Serkan gained experience in working as a group and being responsible for a commercial product. Their responsibilities included using C++14 for developing core libraries for simulation systems, integrating IDE with 3D visualization libraries, and writing tests for legacy code.

In 2021, Serkan joined Accenture as a Software Engineer. Serkan worked in a large team that provided consultation to Vaisala company for the maintenance of the Avimet product, a weather management system used in airports worldwide. Their key responsibilities included writing C++ on both Windows and Linux, using Inter Process Communication, and collaborating with a team of 10+ members.
