Jennifer Yip

Jennifer Yip is a Senior Research Associate at Profluent Bio, with a background in microbiology and extensive research experience in various capacities. Prior to joining Profluent Bio in July 2023, Jennifer held multiple roles at Zymergen from October 2016 to September 2022, including Senior Research Associate and Research Associate I-III. Earlier experience includes a position as Research Associate I at DuPont Pioneer and as an Undergraduate Researcher at Lab Leveau, where projects focused on bacterial antagonism and symplasmata formation. Additionally, Jennifer has contributed to interlibrary loan processes and gained horticultural knowledge as an intern at the UC Davis Botanical Conservatory. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of California, Davis.
