Shruthi Hamsanathan, Ph.D. has a wealth of work experience in the field of research. Shruthi began their career in 2003 as a Graduate Student Researcher at Anna University, where they reviewed literature, planned and designed research projects, identified and resolved problems related to research projects, wrote scientific articles, abstracts and reports, and planned and organized meetings with doctoral committee and board members. In 2010, they moved to Texas A&M University as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate, where they designed, organized and conducted research projects, wrote grants and abstracts, supervised personnel in the laboratory, managed project resources, and authored three research articles. In 2018, they joined the University of Pittsburgh as a Project Team Lead, where they designed and performed research projects, wrote grants, scientific articles, and abstracts, and presented scientific findings at internal and external meetings. Currently, they are a Senior Scientist at ProFound Therapeutics.
Shruthi Hamsanathan, Ph.D. received their Doctor of Philosophy in Biotechnology from Anna University in 2010. Prior to that, they earned their Master's degree in Biotechnology from the University of Madras in 2003 and their Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, General from the University of Madras in 2001.
