Kevin Nguyen

Kevin Nguyen has extensive experience in clinical laboratory science, currently serving as Laboratory Supervisor and Lead Clinical Laboratory Scientist at Progenesis since March 2022. Previously, Kevin held multiple positions at Quest Diagnostics from May 2016 to March 2022, including Clinical Genetics Molecular Biologist Scientist and CGMBS Trainee. Kevin began their career at GENEWIZ as a Laboratory Assistant from May 2013 to May 2016. Kevin's expertise encompasses process improvement, instrument troubleshooting, next generation sequencing, real-time PCR, multiplex ligation-dependent probe amplification, and fragment analysis. Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology with a focus on Clinical Laboratory Science and Public Health from San Diego State University, following an earlier education at Grossmont College.
