Rushen Patel

Rushen Patel has a diverse work experience, starting in 2010 as a Mathematical Consultant at Smith Institute. In 2012, Patel joined Schlumberger as a Senior Research Scientist, initially working as a Drilling Engineer in Sakhalin, Russia. From 2016 to 2018, Patel worked on Vehicle Modelling and Simulation at Red Bull Racing & Red Bull Technology. Following this, Patel was a Research Scientist specializing in Reinforcement Learning at Vivacity Labs from 2018 to 2020. In 2020, Patel became the Head of Enterprise Data Science at Marks and Spencer, a role held until April 2022. Currently, Patel acts as the Head of Data Science and Founding Engineer at ProGrad, starting from April 2022. Additionally, Patel is a Member at OPUS, starting from May 2023.

Rushen Patel completed their Bachelor's degree in Aerospace & Aero-thermal Engineering from the University of Cambridge between 2001 and 2005. Rushen later pursued a PhD in Control Theory at Imperial College London from 2007 to 2010.
