Ahmed Moustehy

Ahmed Moustehy is currently the VP of North American Sales at Progress Rail Services Corporation. Prior to this, they were the Vice President Commercial at Landis+Gyr from February 2018 to July 2019. Before that, they were the Commercial Leader at GE Transportation, a Wabtec company, from February 2013 to February 2018. In this role, they led a global team responsible for orders plan covering services and digital solutions that include new product introductions, modernizations, software (SaaS and Network) and analytics solutions and long-term service agreements. Ahmed also owned the wing-to-wing sales cycle from customer discovery, strategy development, account management, pricing, margin analysis, competitive assessment, risk mitigation, terms & conditions, proposal development, contract negotiations and overall solution selling strategies. In addition, they led sales operations driven by metrics to track key performance indicators covering pacing and forecasting, proposal generation, orders and deal conversion using Salesforce.com as a CRM as well as variable compensation plans, training & development, process simplification, digital tools and account management. Before their time at GE Transportation, they were the Sr. Commercial Director at GE Power from March 1999 to February 2013.

Ahmed Moustehy has an MBA in Business Administration from the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Civil Engineering from The American University in Cairo. Ahmed is also certified by General Electric in Six Sigma Black Belt.
